COVID-19 advice: Please follow current government advice and check opening times before travel.

Tayto Park offers the visitor a theme park and a unique zoo. You can experience a range of adventure activities, and also visit Ireland’s first herd of American Bison, Amur Tigers, Corsac Foxes and Eurasian Lynxes.

The Junior Zone includes the steam train express, the honey pot bears, the pony rail, the shot tower, the Vortex Tunnel, the Crispy Creek Mining Company, Fossett’s Circus Show, the World of Raptors,  and the super hero climbing wall.

The Lemur Woods section showcases 15 ring tailed lemurs in Ireland’s largest lemur walkthrough. Set in a large habitat in a natural woodland, visitors can walk along a looped pathway within the enclosure, giving them the opportunity to see and learn all about these fascinating and lovable primates closer than ever before.

The Flight School is a state-of-the-art 13.1 metre high airport themed ride, designed in Germany. It is a gently paced but exciting ride for youngsters, reaching up to speeds of 46 km/hour. The 281 metre long track accommodates 10 carriages carrying 20 people at a time and is set to give young pilots a real experience of what it is like to take to the skies!

For older children and adults, attractions of note include the Cú Chulainn Coaster (Ireland’s first rollercoaster and Europe’s largest wooden rollercoaster with an inversion), the Rotator, Power Surge, Endeavour, the Air Race, Windstar, Dino Dash, the Extreme Climbing Wall, and the Sky Walk.

Viking Voyage – With 1.7 million litres of water, a Viking village, 5 replica Viking ships and 20 life size Vikings, the Viking Voyage ride is a unique addition to Tayto Park. The project involved Viking experts from Sweden and also theming contractors who have worked in major worldwide theme parks and film sets including Disneyland and Game of Thrones. The construction team used Viking building methods from 1,000 years ago to create wattle fencing, Viking ships, currachs and thatch.
